Dr n. med. Jakub Bukowczan
Jakub Bukowczan MD PhD MRCP graduated in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in 2004. He then spent more than ten years in postgraduate training and clinical practice in the United States, Ireland and England, where in 2015 he completed his specialist training in internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetes.
Having passed all the required examinations, he was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians in London and to the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and holds full recognition of his medical degree in the United States, granted by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
His clinical work covers the diagnosis and treatment of insulin resistance, diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders and other endocrine conditions. At MEDIQUS he leads the endocrine and metabolic centres.

Alongside his medical studies, Jakub Bukowczan completed a Master of Arts degree in music at the Instrumental Faculty of the Academy of Music in Kraków, in the organ class of Professor Joachim Grubich w 2004.
