Zenon Bukowczan MD PhD

Zenon Bukowczan MD PhD graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Kraków in 1974. In 1979 he qualified as a specialist in paediatrics. In 1990 he completed specialist training in pulmonology at the Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in Rabka, and in 1997 he was awarded his doctorate in medical sciences. He has taken part in many scientific courses at recognised centres in Europe and the USA and has steadily broadened his areas of practice: in 1999 he qualified in allergology and in 2004 in family medicine. He keeps up to date with the latest developments in his fields of expertise.

Over the course of his career he has held many management positions, including head of the Pulmonology Clinic in Bieńkówka and head of the Allergy Clinic in Sucha Beskidzka. He is an active clinician-researcher focused on patients and their needs. He joined the Mediqus team in May 2021.
