Anna Cencelewicz-Lesikow MD PhD

Oncologist

Anna Cencelewicz-Lesikow MD PhD graduated from the Medical University of Lublin and completed her specialist training in clinical oncology in 2008. She gained her professional experience at the National Institute of Oncology, first as a registrar and later as head of the gastrointestinal oncology ward. She currently works at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Hospital in Warsaw and at the Mediqus Polish-American Health Centre in Warsaw. She is the author of many scientific publications on cancers of the digestive tract. In her daily work she builds trust through direct contact with patients and places emphasis on a holistic view and on patients’ overall wellbeing. She pays attention to their mental state and environment, which is why she began training at the Wrocław School of Psychotherapy. She currently provides consultations in oncological therapy and runs workshops that help patients and their families cope with illness.

Her clinical and research interests focus mainly on hepatocellular carcinoma, neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) and colorectal cancer.

Anna Cencelewicz-Lesikow MD PhD sees patients aged 18 and over. She speaks fluent English and Italian. She is a doctor with a strong sense of vocation.
