Aesthetic Medicine Centre for Women and Men
The Aesthetic Medicine Centre, led by Katarzyna Gołąbek MD PhD, a specialist in aesthetic medicine, offers a range of procedures using hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, mesotherapy and laser treatments. Every procedure is preceded by a medical assessment.
The hyaluronic acid we use does not require prior allergy testing. Contraindications include allergy to the product, pregnancy, breastfeeding, cancer and skin infections. The treatment involves injecting a gel form of the acid under the skin with very fine needles; it usually causes little discomfort and you can return to your normal activities straight afterwards.

Drooping eyelids affect many women and men. Until recently the only option we could offer was surgery, with a long recovery period. Now we can correct this using condensed, ionised gas (plasma), in which charged particles move freely. Plasma works on the principle of an electric arc, which produces high-density energy. During plasma treatment, excess surface skin is evaporated without bleeding and with little discomfort. Plasma eyelid lifting is a safe way of correcting excess skin above the eye while preserving full eyelid movement. Treatments are performed by an aesthetic medicine doctor, which ensures the procedure follows protocol under medical supervision.
Plasma treatments are an aesthetic innovation and an alternative to traditional surgical methods. Plasma has a wide range of uses, including reducing excess skin, facial correction, and treating wrinkles, furrows and discolouration. Plasma therapy can help rebuild skin affected by collagen loss and reduce acne damage and other skin changes such as vitiligo, stretch marks and age spots.
A major advantage of plasma therapy is that no electric current passes through your body. Plasma works locally, and results can be seen during the treatment.
With this method you can return to your daily activities straight after the treatment, without a long recovery period. Results depend on individual factors.
In many situations where a scalpel used to be necessary, cosmetic plasma can now be used instead, to make the treatment less invasive.
Ageing is an irreversible process: every year the lines on the forehead, crow’s feet and smoker’s lines deepen. How fast this happens depends on many factors: genetics, environment, lifestyle and skin care. The skin loses firmness and collagen fibres decrease, which leads to reduced elasticity and density and gradually deeper lines and wrinkles, especially around the mouth, chin and eyes. A fast pace of life, pollution, daily stress and the many demands of modern life can speed up skin ageing.
Think it is too early for rejuvenating treatments? Skin ageing begins after the age of 25. Our services are available to clients aged 18 and over, regardless of sex. Studies suggest that the younger the skin treated with botulinum toxin, the longer the effect tends to last. Treating the first wrinkles allows a smaller amount of product to be used and longer intervals between treatments.
Your face deserves an experienced doctor.
Your safety is our priority. Every treatment is performed by an experienced aesthetic medicine doctor, not by cosmetic staff. The doctor takes a detailed history each time, which allows the treatment parameters to be chosen in line with strict safety standards. We use certified equipment and products authorised for use. We follow current developments in aesthetic medicine. The scope and course of each treatment is decided by the doctor after assessment.
Botulinum toxin treatments are also used for bruxism, chronic teeth grinding that can affect both health and facial appearance.
Comfort matters to us.
An experienced doctor, professional equipment and individually chosen product amounts help to minimise discomfort and the risk of side effects. The sensation of botulinum toxin injections is often compared to a mosquito bite, and we provide full aftercare.
We look forward to welcoming you.
The number of treatments is decided by the doctor during the consultation. The Invictus laser is a modern device for facial and body hair removal.
Invictus is a modern type of laser designed to improve results while reducing discomfort and treatment costs.
Smooth, well-groomed skin is something many people want. Traditional methods such as shaving or waxing often do not solve the problem and can cause skin irritation, ingrown hairs or inflamed hair follicles.
Invictus laser hair removal can be a good solution. Thanks to skin cooling, discomfort during the treatment is usually slight, and one session with this device can be comparable to 2–3 sessions with older lasers.
Laser hair removal at our clinic works by precisely targeting the melanin in the hair follicles, destroying it and preventing regrowth. Invictus covers a larger area than other lasers, which shortens the treatment time. An innovative cooling head and adjustable beam parameters help reduce pain and improve comfort.
Human hair grows in three phases, and laser light only affects hair in the growth phase. Dormant hair is not sensitive to the laser beam, so a series of treatments is needed. The laser is most effective on dark hair (which contains the most melanin). If your hair is very fair, red or grey, laser treatment is not effective and we do not recommend it.
Invictus has a CE medical certificate. Laser hair removal is relatively safe, but a few rules must be followed beforehand, including stopping retinoid products and photosensitising agents, and avoiding tanning, self-tanners and shaving. The skin must be shaved just before the treatment. During the consultation the doctor will explain all necessary recommendations and ensure the treatment is carried out safely and comfortably.
The treatment is preceded by a patch test. If the doctor finds no adverse reaction, the selected areas are treated with the laser. Depending on the area, the treatment takes 10 to 45 minutes, and you can return to your normal activities afterwards. The skin may be temporarily red or sting slightly, but this soon passes. Aftercare: avoid sunbathing and self-tanners and protect the skin from sun exposure.
Smooth skin is in season all year round. Modern technology makes hair removal far more comfortable.
Hyaluronic acid therapy is a rejuvenating method based on a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. It can reduce visible signs of ageing. The treatment is performed by an aesthetic medicine doctor using authorised products. Results depend on individual factors and can be seen during the treatment. For us, "aesthetic medicine is above all medicine. There is no room for chance."
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in human skin and links collagen and elastin fibres. It is what makes teenage skin look so fresh and supple. Unfortunately, its amount decreases with age, so year by year the skin becomes looser and loses volume, and lines and wrinkles become more visible.
Hyaluronic acid products do more than fill wrinkles. The acid binds water in the tissues and increases in volume, filling furrows from within, and also helps to shape areas of the face such as the lips, nose and cheeks. Hyaluronic acid stimulates cells to renew and supports natural repair processes. The lifting effect usually lasts more than 6 months, and further treatments help to maintain the results. Hyaluronic acid is also used for contouring treatments such as lip enhancement, cheek filling and softening of sharp facial features.
Results can often be seen immediately after the treatment.
Electrically assisted mesotherapy exposes the skin to electrical impulses that increase the permeability of cell membranes, allowing active substances to penetrate deeper into the tissues and directly into cells. When ultrasound is used, transport through the epidermis is driven by ultrasound waves. Special lymphatic drainage techniques help optimise the results.
Needle-free mesotherapy is less invasive than needle mesotherapy. Results appear quickly, it has a wide range of uses and the risk of side effects is low. The treatment is performed by an aesthetic medicine doctor. Before the treatment we discuss indications, contraindications and possible side effects.
This technique can firm the body (thighs, abdomen, arms, buttocks), reduce cellulite and fat, and revitalise and firm facial skin. It helps prevent signs of ageing and stimulates the skin’s repair processes. An individually selected set of active substances is delivered deep into the cells.
A targeted therapy, usually with little discomfort.
Needle mesotherapy delivers nourishing, repairing and revitalising substances precisely under the skin. It is a problem-focused treatment that supports repair at cellular level and the body’s natural repair responses. Performed by an experienced aesthetic medicine doctor, a well-planned series of treatments can improve the appearance of the skin, help with a number of skin conditions and improve patients’ quality of life. It is essential that the treatment follows good medical practice, as it does at our clinic.
Needle mesotherapy has many uses, including rejuvenating and revitalising the skin and correcting cosmetic concerns such as discolouration, scars, cellulite, stretch marks, hair loss and other hair growth disorders. The best results usually come from a series of treatments at short intervals followed by regular maintenance treatments. The treatment itself is not usually painful. We use certified injection devices and products authorised in the European Union. Small lumps may appear at the injection sites, but they are absorbed quickly and no recovery time is needed.
Results usually appear quickly.
Excessive sweating affects about 3% of the population, but many more people experience the effects of heavy sweating on the hands, armpits, face or feet. Botulinum toxin therapy helps reduce sweating, and the effect lasts 6–8 months.
Excessive sweating does not have to dominate your life.
We understand how much excessive sweating can affect daily life and how unpleasant and embarrassing it can be. Our doctor will choose the right dose of botulinum toxin and make sure the treatment causes little discomfort.
Botulinum toxin injections require experience and skill, so at our clinic they are performed by an experienced aesthetic medicine doctor. This allows the optimal dose to be chosen and makes the procedure more comfortable. We provide aftercare and follow-up during treatment.
All our treatments are preceded by a medical history to rule out contraindications (e.g. neuromuscular transmission disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding) and minimise the risk of side effects. The doctor then performs a "Minor test" to identify the areas that sweat most. Iodine is applied to the areas being tested and dusted with starch; the areas with the heaviest sweating darken immediately.
After local anaesthesia, botulinum toxin is injected under the skin with a fine needle. The amount is tailored to your needs. Thanks to the local anaesthetic you will feel very little pain, and you can go home after the treatment.

Your body has its own repair mechanisms. Plasma-based treatments use these mechanisms to revitalise and rejuvenate the face and body. A preparation obtained from your own blood is used instead of synthetic substances. This treatment, sometimes called a "vampire lift", is an option for people who do not tolerate synthetic products or are prone to allergies.
Treatments with platelet-rich plasma are among the most frequently chosen worldwide. Their effectiveness depends largely on how the biological material is obtained. The key is the technology of the centrifuge used to process the blood, so that its valuable properties are preserved. Our equipment allows the centrifugation parameters to be matched to the chosen protocol.
The plasma is injected under the skin with a fine needle into the areas you choose. The method can be used to rejuvenate almost any part of the face and body as an alternative to surgery. Results usually last at least six months. Skin tone, density and elasticity improve visibly, which smooths and softens wrinkles.
The procedure is a natural and quick way to revitalise the skin.
Modern aesthetic medicine pays increasing attention to the body’s natural repair factors: platelets, growth factors and stem cells. These are the substances used when specially prepared blood components, injectable platelet-rich fibrin, are injected into the subcutaneous tissue.
Results are visible immediately after the injection of fibrin, but the final effect develops over about a month. A standard course consists of 3 treatments at intervals of about a month.
Platelet-rich fibrin like the popular platelet-rich plasma ("vampire lift"), is obtained by taking a blood sample from the patient, which is specially prepared and centrifuged to produce a platelet-rich preparation ready for injection. Autologous fibrin improves skin quality straight away, but full results are seen after a month. Substances in the fibrin network stimulate stem cells, attract them to the treated area and activate their transformation into fat tissue. Wrinkles are filled as a network of fibrin fibres forms under the skin, gently lifting the tissue above it. Treatment with platelet-rich fibrin also offers the skin many other benefits, including:
- reduced signs of skin ageing,
- improved skin elasticity, firmness and density,
- skin revitalisation, hydration and restored resilience
- smoother skin and a more even skin tone,
- collagen fibre remodelling,

If you want to firm your skin, reduce the visibility of scars or thread veins, or treat stretch marks, spots and discolouration, Skinfrax therapy at our clinic may be an option. Our equipment allows the treatment parameters to be tailored to each patient. All treatments are performed by an aesthetic medicine doctor. Results depend on individual factors and cannot be guaranteed.
Skinfrax uses skin-warming electromagnetic waves combined with two independent methods of transdermal delivery (microneedle fractionation and non-invasive fractionation). This makes it suitable for patients for whom reducing pain is especially important. A built-in cooling head reduces discomfort and speeds up skin recovery during the treatment.
The method is well suited to deep skin tightening not only on the face but also on the hands and abdomen. It is an option for patients with deep acne scars and post-acne discolouration. It can reduce excess skin under the chin, improve the jawline and lift drooping eyelids. Skinfrax stimulates repair processes in the skin as a less invasive alternative to surgical procedures.
